Shock recoupling hits Love Island villa as FURIOUS star rages at bombshell for picking him – and splitting couple
LOVE Island viewers were treated to yet another bombshell of an episode tonight as a shock recoupling hit the villa.
Yasmin received a text asking the Islanders to gather around the fire pit, which many knew would spell trouble.
Kavan then received a text revealing there would be a recoupling and the boys would be choosing.
Since Victoria and Namibia were the newest arrivals, they were allowed to pick the boys they wanted to couple up with before anyone else.
Namibia chose Sam, and Victoria chose Ope.
Ope, who has been all in with Angelista, despite the pair having had a rocky couple of days, was left furious with being picked by Victoria.
He had a face of thunder and sank down into his seat as he took his place beside Victoria.
Speaking afterwards on the Debrief, former Islanders Shakira, Toni and Yas called his behaviour performative and Oscar-worthy.
Viewers agreed, with one writing on X: “Ope don’t start your pantomime bs here. After you disrespected tf out of Angie and entertained tf out of Victoria you thought that last second convo was gonna make you look like the good guy? If it wasn’t Sam it was gonna be him.”
Another said: “This Ope brudda is pretending to be p***ed that Victoria picked him.”
A third wrote: “Ope trying to act like he wasn’t happy to be picked by the bombshell.”
Earlier on in the episode, Ope apologised to Angelista about his behaviour on dates with some of the bombshells.
It came after Angelista dramatically booted Ope out of bed after branding his behaviour “disrespectful” as the pair went to war over comments he made about bombshells.
The clash erupted after Ope made comments about one of the bombshells, leaving Angelista furious and questioning his intentions in the villa.
Things reached breaking point when she ordered him out of their shared bed, accusing him of being disrespectful.
Ope previously landed himself in hot water after admitting to everyone that he has a ‘wandering eye’.
Ope expressed how he was worried about finding the new bombshells hot.
He told the boys: “You know I was sweating a little bit I’m not going to lie to you.
“I’ve got such a big thing about Angelista and I’m just a bit, I don’t… I’ve got a wandering eye.”
Aside from the shocking recoupling, lots more went down on Tuesday night.
After Lorenzo shockingly kissed Priya in the hideaway, despite his bond with Jasmine – the hunk was forced to come clean.
Priya told some of the girls that she and Lorenzo kissed, with news travelling fast.
Jasmine then spoke to Lorenzo at the fire pit about the kiss.
She said she is concluding that he isn’t interested in her, however, he said he is still interested in her and Jasmine feels the door is still open.
