The Duke of Sussex has hinted at some very exciting plans in a new interview after receiving a major honour. Prince Harry is named in the inaugural Time 100 sports list.

The list aims to celebrate the people shaping the sports landscape today. Appearing first on the list, Harry is praised for founding the Invictus Games in 2014, his passion project for wounded Servicemen and veterans, after serving in the British Army. In an interview with the magazine, the Duke revealed how important the Games are to him and his biggest wish for the future.

He said: “What we’ve managed to achieve through Invictus over the years is not only to give people their purpose and their meaning back, but give them their identity back.”

The duke then expressed his hope of making the Games a two-week event rather than a one-week event to give more service members the opportunity to compete.

Harry said: “One thing that we really celebrate at Invictus is not only do we change lives, but we save lives as well.Prince Harry Shares Personal Message for 'Dads' and 'Soon-to-Be Dads' in Australia

“That’s not based on anything other than the amount of individuals that come up to me and say, ‘If it wasn’t for Invictus, I would have killed myself.’”

It is not the first time that King Charles’s son has been featured in the magazine.

The last time Harry appeared on Time’s most influential list was in 2021, in the Icons category, alongside his wife, Meghan Markle.

He also appeared in the leaders category in 2018, before his marriage to the Duchess.
