King Charles launches quirky royal plushie range inspired by Princess Charlotte’s Jellycat obsession

KING Charles has been inspired by his granddaughter Princess Charlotte to produce a range of posh royal plushies.

Charlotte, 11, is said to be obsessed with Jellycat cuddly toys — and now the monarch is selling his own versions based on an English ­afternoon tea.

They include a cucumber sandwich and Victoria sponge, Battenberg and cupcakes.

A teacup and ­teapot complete the Tea at the Palace collection, on sale in the Garden Shop at Buckingham Palace this summer.

They are also available on the Royal Collection Trust website.

Princess Charlotte and her brothers Prince George, 12, and eight-year-old Prince Louis have a collection of Jellycat cuddly toys, according to their mum Catherine, Princess of Wales.
