‘Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex,’ Harry replied, to which podcast co-host Jake Bhardwaj  (pictured) quipped: ‘It’s a long one’. Harry quickly responded: ‘Alright, Jake,’ causing huge laughter from the podcast hosts and crew members behind the camera.

The former England rugby player said: ‘We try to pride ourselves on the ability to go from light to dark to serious to fun, because, for me, it’s just one big conversation.’

Since launching last year, Joe Marler Will See You Now has amassed 9.5 million long form streams and 170 million social media views to date, and previous guests have included his fellow Celebrity Traitors contestant Nick Mohammed, comedian Katherine Ryan and former QI presenter Stephen Fry.

The full podcast episode is set to be released at 5pm on Monday, July 13.

A long-awaited royal reunion came yesterday as Charles and Camilla secretly welcomed Harry, Meghan and their two children to Highgrove.

The meeting took place at the monarch’s private Gloucestershire residence, a short drive from both Oxfordshire, where Charles had been undertaking official engagements, and Birmingham, where the Duke of Sussex had been at an event for a countdown to his Invictus Games.

Charles has not seen California-dwelling Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet since 2022, when they were just three and one.

He last saw Harry, 41, in September last year, but earlier this week was forced to publicly slap him down after Harry’s PR team incorrectly briefed that he had accepted an invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace during his visit to the UK this week.

Harry arrived in the UK on Monday. The following day, he lost his High Court case alleging wrongdoing by Associated Newspapers, the publishers of the Daily Mail, and yesterday he started the year-long countdown to his Invictus Games.

Buckingham Palace refused to discuss any further details of what was described as a ‘private family occasion’.

Earlier in the day, he showed off his wheelchair rugby skills at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on Friday, as he launched the one-year countdown to his Invictus Games.

The Duchess of Sussex had hoped to support Harry at today’s event at the NEC, but did not travel to Britain with him on Monday because of security concerns and the ongoing row with the Home Office over taxpayer-funded armed police bodyguards.

However, Meghan arrived in the UK with their children unnoticed after spending time at their holiday home in Europe before travelling to Gloucestershire for the meeting with Charles and Camilla.

At the event in Birmingham, Harry met TV presenter Alison Hammond, where he told her: ‘By the way, my kids loved you in the Bake Off – absolutely love it. I love it as well.’

Speaking live on This Morning, Ms Hammond told Harry: ‘Honestly, your kids and Meghan must be so proud of you. Do they tell you every day?’

He smiled and replied: ‘They don’t tell me every day that they’re proud of me but yeah, I’m proud of them, they’re proud of me, I love my family.’

Harry also apologised after referring to England’s World Cup quarter-final against Norway on Saturday night as a game of ‘soccer’.

After six years living in the US, the Duke of Sussex slipped into using the American term for the beautiful game when This Morning host Alison Hammond invited him back to her house for ackee and saltfish, Jamaica’s national dish.

Delighted by the invitation, Harry replied: ‘And some soccer as well?’, before quickly correcting himself: ‘Some football, sorry. Football, not soccer.’

Harry’s visit to the UK is part of the ‘One Year to Go’ celebrations for the next Invictus Games in the city in July 2027.

On Wednesday, he was also at the Royal Hospital Chelsea for meetings about the Invictus Games Foundation, including a summit for international team managers.

They spoke about plans for the Invictus Spirit Awards in the capital this September.

Meanwhile, although they were barely 100 miles apart on public engagements yesterday, Prince William and his estranged brother might still have been on different sides of the Atlantic.

The heir to the throne was supported by his beaming wife, the Princess of Wales, as he led his team to victory in the DMMI Royal Charity Cup at the Guards Polo Club at Windsor.

Catherine cheered her husband from the sidelines and then presented him with a trophy – and a kiss on each cheek for good measure – before they left, smiling, hand in hand.

The event was raising funds for ten charities supported by the couple, ranging from homelessness to mental health. In the 15 years William has taken part in the event, he has helped to raise more than £15million for good causes.
