Queen Camilla and her sister, Annabel Elliot, had a front row seat in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
The Queen and her younger sister attended day 10 of the tennis tournament on Wednesday, July 8, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. The siblings chatted and cooled themselves with fans as they took in the matches on Centre Court.
Queen Camilla, 78, wasn’t the only famous face in the Wimbledon crowd. She and her sister, 77, were seated in front of actress Elle Fanning and her boyfriend of three years, Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner.

One of Fanning’s most famous roles has a strong royal connection. The 28-year-old actress earned acclaim for her Emmy-nominated turn as Catherine II of Russia on Hulu’s The Great. The show is a satirical retelling of the story of Catherine the Great, who reigned as the Empress of Russia from 1762 to 1796.
The real-life Catherine the Great is actually a distant relative of many of Europe’s current leaders, including Queen Camilla’s husband, King Charles, through the Greek and Danish heritage of his late father, Prince Philip.
Queen Camilla also had some royal family members seated nearby, as royal newlyweds Peter and Harriet Phillips were also in the Royal Box at Wimbledon that day. Harriet and Camilla were seen sharing a laugh between the sporting action.

Camilla and her sister, who are just 18 months apart in age, frequently attend royal outings together, and it’s been said that Annabel has been the Queen’s “rock” over the last few years, which have seen them weather the coronation, King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and more.
“She’s somebody who is completely loyal,” Annabel said of her older sister in a December 2024 interview with The Sun, adding that Camilla “isn’t somebody who has huge highs and lows.”
It’s been a week of fun engagements for the Queen. On Tuesday, she made a surprise visit to The Half Moon pub in Plumpton, in East Sussex, U.K. It was something of a homecoming for Camilla, whose family has a country estate in the village of Plumpton, where she spent time as a child.
“Great to see HRH The Queen Camilla supporting another of Plumpton’s locals!!” Fountain Inn Purchase wrote on their Facebook page.
The pub reposted the photo of the royal posing between two people, writing, “The Queen was talking about the Fountain! A real character and lovely to welcome her. Such a lovely lady!”
