DUCHESS SOPHIE JUST EARNED A NEW TWO-WORD NICKNAME AFTER ONE SWEET MOMENT WITH PRINCE LOUIS. 👑💛 Trooping the Colour was filled with royal tradition, balcony scenes, and cameras watching every move — but one quiet interaction between Duchess Sophie and Prince Louis suddenly stole attention online. The 61-year-old royal was pictured sharing a warm moment with Louis, and fans immediately noticed the way she handled him with such natural ease. It was not loud. It was not staged. But that small exchange was enough for royal fans to give Sophie a new two-word nickname that perfectly captured the moment.

Duchess Sophie has been given a new nickname by royal fans after she was spotted sweetly interacting with Prince Louis. The 61-year-old attended the Trooping the Colour celebrations, a historic event that marks the monarch’s official birthday.

As the royals watched the parade from a window in the Duke of Wellington’s office on Horse Guards Parade, Sophie was captured with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ three children, with one account on Instagram sharing some sweet pictures. The account wrote: “Always amazing to see the Wales children with Sophie! And isn’t it adorable to see The Duchess and Princess Charlotte matching in white [white-heart emoji].”

The comments were then flooded with a sweet nickname for the much-loved royal, ‘Auntie Sophie’.

One comment read: “Aw auntie Sophie [red-heart emoji].”

Another said: “Auntie Sophie [teary-eyed emoji] [red-heart emoji].”

A third commented: “Auntie Sophie is so cool!!”

Like Catherine, Sophie joined the Royal Family through marriage, marrying the late Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward, in 1999.

Sophie is also, like Catherine, a mother to Lady Louise Windsor, 22, and James, Earl of Wessex, 18.

Sophie previously paid tribute to Princess Charlotte after she was spotted sporting a friendship bracelet back in 2024 – thought to have been made for her by Catherine and William’s daughter.

While attending the Olympic Games in Paris, Sophie was seen wearing a gold bangle and a burgundy friendship bracelet on her left wrist.
