  • Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling released official portraits to celebrate their wedding on June 6
  • The couple wed in front of members of the royal family
  • With the nuptials, Peter became the first member in his generation of the British royal family to remarry

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling are ready for their happily ever after.

Following their Saturday, June 6 wedding, the couple released two official portraits from the big day on Monday, June, 8.

One shows the couple at All Saints Church in Kemble, a village in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England, where the ceremony took place. The second portrait was taken in the conservatory of Gatcombe Park, the home of Peter Phillips’ mother Princess Anne — who hosted the couple’s reception.

Members of the royal family, from Peter’s cousins Prince William and Kate Middleton to King Charles and Queen Camilla, were in attendance. It was previously reported that Prince Harry, the former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were not among the invited guests.

It is the second marriage for both the bride and groom. Peter, 48, was married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 to 2021, and the pair shares two daughters: Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14. Harriet was previously married to fitness instructor Antonio St. John Sperling, with whom she shares a 13-year-old daughter, Georgina.

Georgina made her royal family debut as she attended the Easter church service with them in April.

With the wedding, Peter became the first of Queen Elizabeth’s eight grandchildren to remarry. (Five others are currently married, while the two youngest — Lady Louise and James, Earl of Wessex — have not yet tied the knot.)

Peter is the eldest grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth, and Harriet is a National Health Service nurse. For the second wedding for both, she wore a floor-length Emilia Wickstead gown with a long train and lace overlay. Harriet completed her ensemble for the big day with a lace veil, custom ivory satin heels by Jimmy Choo and a tiara and earrings by Pragnell, the same Mayfair jeweller that designed her engagement ring. (The decision to wear a tiara bucked modern tradition. Queen Camilla chose not to wear a tiara for her 2005 nuptials to the future King Charles. Instead, she wore a white hat for their civil ceremony.)

William and Kate arrived alongside other members of the family on the drizzly spring afternoon, with Kate in a cream-colored, collared boucle-knit maxi dress by Roland Mouret and matching hat.

Peter, 48, and his sister, Zara Tindall, 45, grew up alongside cousins Prince William, 43, and Prince Harry, 41, sharing royal family holidays, milestones and balcony appearances at Trooping the Colour.

Speculation about the couple’s relationship began in May 2024 when they attended the Badminton Horse Trials together. They continued to attend events together, such as Royal Ascot, where Harriet mingled with members of the royal family.

The pair announced their engagement in August 2025, and their wedding date was revealed in April.
