Queen Camilla was spotted cooling down in the heatwave this week as she made an appearance at Wimbledon. The Queen was seen trying to beat the heat as she sat with a fan while enjoying the tennis on Wednesday (July 8); however, people’s eyes were drawn to something totally unexpected when she was sitting down and enjoying the sport.
A post has gone viral on X after one eagle-eyed Wimbledon fan noticed something rather unlikely when the cameras turned to Camilla. The royal was seen holding a fan to try and keep cool during the hot weather, but people didn’t expect the moment to play out as it did.
It comes after the Queen was witnessed enjoying herself at the annual tennis tournament. She was even seen mingling with a former British champion.
The post, shared by an account known as Red Foxi, said: “Christ, how powerful is Camilla’s fan?” You then see the Queen holding her fan while chatting to someone, and the woman behind her looked like the device had totally blown her hair backwards.
Of course, she instead appeared to be donning a super chic and impressive blow-dry; however, people couldn’t help but be distracted by the illusion that was caught on camera. It’s since been liked over 90,000 times and hundreds of people were quick to comment.
One said: “This made me laugh.” Another wrote: “The best tweet I’ve seen in a long time.”
A third replied: “I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed this lady today. Impressive hair.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Looks like that tiny fan is powerful enough to give a nice blow out to the lady in pink.” One more noted: “I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to see. Made myself laugh at the time.”
Many also responded to highlight just how glamorous they thought the lady in pink looked. Her hair was deemed totally amazing.

One more wrote: “Love the royal box vibes.” Some also suggested her hair may have looked the way it did due to the “humidity”, but many people couldn’t take their eyes off it.
It comes as London temperatures have been reaching a scorching 32°C this week, and it looks like the nice weather is here to stay for a while. People who’ve attended Wimbledon this week have likely been exposed to relentless rays.
Perhaps it comes as no surprise that the Queen decided to make use of a small fan when she attended the event. When you don’t want to break fashion protocol to keep cool, a fan may appear to be the next best option.
A good cooling gadget can make all the difference in this weather, which is why Camilla likely decided to take one with her. After all, they can be super beneficial in the heat.
