Prince Harry Laughs Off Goat Yoga Mishap After Animal Nearly Pounces on His ‘Crown Jewels’ Mid-Session

Prince Harry had an unfortunate run-in with a goat during his trip to the United Kingdom.
On Saturday, July 11, the Duke of Sussex, 41, attended Scotty’s Summer Festival, an annual event put on by a charity that supports children who have lost a parent serving in the armed forces, and even participated in a bit of goat yoga while he was there.

In photos from his visit to the festival in Warwickshire, England, Harry could be seen doing a variety of poses on his yoga mat while surrounded by curious goats and children wearing matching shirts.
At one point, a video obtained by the Associated Press showed a goat jumping onto Harry’s groin area while he was lying down, causing him to immediately cover his groin with his hands before breaking out into laughter.

While one person joked that his security team had failed to protect the “Crown Jewels,” Harry simply looked at the goat, quipping, “Ow! What are you doing?”

Prince Harry — who lost his own mother, Princess Diana, when he was just 12 and also served in the British Army — has supported Scotty’s Little Soldiers since 2017 and became their global ambassador in 2023
In addition to taking part in a yoga session with the goats, Harry was pelted with water balloons on an inflatable obstacle course and asked an emotional question by a 9-year-old girl named Poppy during his time at the festival.
“What makes you laugh when you’ve had a difficult day?” Poppy, whose father, Able Seaman Daniel Turnbull, died in July 2020 from leukemia, asked the Duke of Sussex.

“That got me right there,” Harry responded while patting his heart. “You know what, sometimes it’s just a difficult day. It’s not always possible to laugh. But my dog makes me laugh, my children make me laugh. And if I need to laugh, I’ll probably put something really funny on the television.”
“And this goes for all of you, there are some days when you’d like to laugh, but it might not always be possible to laugh,” he continued. “But you’ve got brothers and sisters, friends, this community… but yes, I think the point is that a laugh at the end of a hard day is the best medicine served.”
Harry’s recent outing came amid his solo return to his home country, which followed days of back-and-forth over whether Meghan Markle and their kids — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — would join him amid ongoing security concerns.
Ultimately, Meghan, 44, and the children flew in from their vacation in Europe to mark the children’s first reunion with their grandfather, King Charles, in four years.
