PRINCE HARRY’S EX CHELSY DAVY HAS QUIETLY BUILT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LIFE FAR FROM THE ROYAL SPOTLIGHT — AND HER MOVE TO MAURITIUS MAY REVEAL THE REAL REASON SHE WALKED AWAY FROM A FUTURE WITH HARRY YEARS AGO

Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s former girlfriend, has offered a rare glimpse into her new life in Mauritius, where she now lives with her husband, hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott, and their three children. The jewellery entrepreneur shared scenes from an ordinary day on the island, including a morning beach walk, taking her children to school and working on her Aya jewellery brand.Chelsy was in an on-off relationship with Harry from 2004 to 2011

The glimpse is striking precisely because of how different it looks from the world she once occupied. Davy dated Harry on and off between 2004 and 2011, becoming one of his best-known girlfriends and appearing alongside him at polo matches, weddings and other high-profile events. She even met members of the Royal Family before eventually deciding that royal life was not for her.

Today, her life appears to have taken an entirely different direction. Davy married Cutmore-Scott in Mauritius in 2022, and the couple moved to the island on a “(semi) full time” basis in December 2025. Their third child, Finn, was born in March 2026, joining Leo, four, and Chloe, two.

Mauritius is hardly a random choice for Davy. She has been visiting the island with her family since she was four, and it later became the setting for her own wedding. The location therefore appears to represent something much deeper than a glamorous escape — it is a place connected to her life long before Harry entered it.

But the most intriguing part of Chelsy’s story lies in what happened before this quieter chapter. Her relationship with Harry was serious enough to place her directly inside the royal orbit, yet the constant attention surrounding the Prince eventually became a major obstacle. The 2011 wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton was reportedly a defining moment for Davy, reinforcing the realisation that she did not want the intense public life that came with becoming a member of the Royal Family.

Unlike Harry, who later married Meghan Markle and remained at the centre of an extraordinary public story, Chelsy chose a much more private path. She built a jewellery business, married outside the Royal Family and created a family life far from Britain’s royal spotlight. Despite their breakup, she remained friendly with Harry and was even invited to his 2018 wedding to Meghan.

That history makes her latest glimpse from Mauritius particularly fascinating. There is no obvious attempt to revisit the past or draw attention to her connection with Harry. Instead, the images focus on her children, her work and the life she has deliberately built for herself.

And perhaps that is the biggest twist in the story: the woman who once stood beside Prince Harry at some of the most important moments of his young life appears to have found exactly what she wanted by choosing a life far removed from the royal spotlight.

But one detail from Chelsy’s past may explain why that decision was so important — and why the lavish royal world she once experienced ultimately convinced her that Harry’s life was not the future she wanted
