👑 PRINCESS CATHERINE HAS RECLAIMED HER PLACE AS BRITAIN’S BEST-DRESSED WOMAN — AND THE LOOKS THAT PUT HER BACK ON TOP PROVE ROYAL STYLE DOESN’T ALWAYS REQUIRE A BRAND-NEW WARDROBE. Four years after last leading the prestigious list, the Princess of Wales has once again been crowned the country’s most stylish figure. Her elegant outfits during a recent overseas tour attracted particular praise, but it was Catherine’s ability to mix glamorous new pieces with dresses, boots and accessories worn years earlier that helped set her apart. From sharply tailored suits to unforgettable state-banquet gowns, each appearance showed a different side of her evolving royal style.

Princess Kate has been named the best dressed style icon for 2026, taking home the top spot for the second time. The Princess of Wales has topped the list by society magazine Tatler, after also coming in the top spot in 2022.

The future queen was hailed by the publication for her fashion choices during her trip to Italy earlier this year, when she embarked on a two-day visit to Reggio Emilia to continue her early years work.

Kate was also celebrated for her love of recycling some of her looks, most recently when she wore a striking yellow dress to Royal Ascot, which she first wore in 2022.

Tatler said: “The Princess of Wales has topped this list before, and will again. But now feels the perfect moment to salute Britain’s chicest figure, back to health — and back to being a Brit-fashion heroine.”

The magazine also hailed her as “Britain’s chicest figure” whose fashion choices “light up royal occasions”, as she has now made her return to her royal duties after stepping away in 2024 due to her cancer diagnosis.

The princess is often praised for her elegant and brightly coloured ensembles, as she turned heads with a sophisticated grass-green dress during the Wimbledon final earlier this month, as well as a timeless baby blue frock whilst attending Trooping the Colour in June.

Other famous faces who made the list are Bridgerton actress Hannah Dodd, Gjin Lipa – who is popstar Dua Lipa’s younger brother – and Valentina Pinault, the daughter of Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek.

The number two spot on the fashion list went to doctor and health-content creator Dr Raj Arora, who was described as making “medical scrubs look chic”.

In third was British athlete Temi Ojora, who Tatler said “applies a champion’s mindset to her wardrobe” with “TikTok-approved Y2K ensembles” as well as “the cutest coveted handbags”.

The highest placed man on the list was actor Edward Bluemel, who is known for roles in TV shows such as Killing Eve and My Lady Jane – and is teed up to star as Hercule Poirot in an upcoming BBC drama about the famous detective.

The 33-year-old came in fourth place, with Tatler noting he is “set to be the youngest (possibly handsomest) Hercule Poirot ever” and praising his 90s-inspired “London cool-boy look”.
