Crissy Froyd had her own skeletons.
“People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” and Crissy Ford is now finding that out the hard way.
Froyd is a 26-year-old NFL reporter who has been with USA Today since 2015. Her tenure ended this week. It came after she publicly attacked Dianna Russini on X, making claims about the veteran NFL insider. Froyd criticized Russini over her photos with the New England Patriots head coach.
In response, USA Today confirmed it had ended its contractor relationship with her, citing statements that did not reflect its “commitment to professionalism” or “principles of ethical conduct.” The termination was announced on USA Today’s official X account on April 16.
Crissy Froyd Has Allegations of a Relationship With a Former NFL QB

Now she has to fight off allegations regarding skeletons in her own closet. A wild post about her is circulating on X and has grabbed attention following her firing from USA Today.
“WILD: Crissy Froyd was allegedly in a PRIVATE relationship with Saints QB Tommy Stevens during the COVID bubble,” a post alleged. Then things got even worse.
“After Tommy broke up with her, she reported him for violating protocols and got him cut from the practice squad 😳,” the alleged post concluded.

Following her comments about Russini, Froyd addressed online chatter regarding a past personal connection with former quarterback JT Daniels. She indicated that she became involved with Daniels after he retired from football.
“I have never slept with a player or coach for professional gain,” she claimed to the Daily Caller. “Dianna cannot say the same. That’s where the difference is,” she concluded.
Until Crissy Froyd says something about Tommy Stevens, what is being said on X is merely unconfirmed information. As of this writing, Tommy Stevens is said to have been married since 2025. He is currently a quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
Before that, he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL draft.
