The Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini scandal has been the NFL’s top story over the past three weeks, and it’s not going away any time soon.
It’s been 23 days now since photos surfaced of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini hanging out together at an adults-only hotel in Sedona, Arizona. The images, taken on March 28, showed the pair holding hands, hugging and chilling at a swimming pool.
Last week, new photos surfaced of Vrabel and Russini kissing at a New York City bar. The New England Patriots’ HC then announced he would miss day three of the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling.
The photos sparked immense controversy, as both are married with children. Vrabel and his wife, Jen, have been married since 1999.
According to the Daily Mail, Jen and Mike had a “marriage summit” in Utah over the weekend to address the state of their marriage.” The outlet obtained photos of Mrs. Vrabel arriving in Boston by herself on Tuesday.

The Daily Mail spoke to an insider regarding Jen Vrabel’s status and well-being. The insider claimed that Jen is furious and “horrified” about the entire situation.
“Jen is p***ed, embarrassed, and horrified that this is her life right now. To live through this in the public eye, being judged by friends and family, being judged by people she has never met. It is a nightmare.’
But as much as the trust has been broken, the “till death do us part” is what she is trying to make work. And with the trust that has been broken, she is looking to see if Mike can be the man she fell in love with and if he will put in the work to actually change.”
Russini resigned from her position as an NFL insider at The Athletic, a position she had held since Aug. 2023. She has since deleted her X/Twitter account and made her Instagram account private.
