Prince Harry and King Charles have not been in contact for nine months, a royal author has claimed. The Duke of Sussex, 41, last spent time with his father in person in September, when the pair met at Clarence House for a meeting.

While the meeting was believed to have gone well, with Harry later telling the press that his father was his “focus” over the next year, it seems that it hasn’t done much to increase contact between father and son. This is because, according to one royal biographer, the September meeting is the last time they actually spoke. This is not something Harry or his father have confirmed themselves.

Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast last week, royal biographer Christopher Andersen said: “Harry is still married to Meghan, and there lies the problem.

“I don’t believe that Charles has spoken to Harry in nine months. Before that, it was 19 months. This is not a good sign.”

This is not the first time it has been claimed that Harry and the monarch have had very sparse contact recently.

Just weeks ago, royal expert Katie Nicholl – one of the hosts of The Royals Uncensored podcast – also said that Harry and the King are not having the best relationship at the moment.

This is because Harry reportedly tries to contact the monarch directly rather than through his private secretary.

She claimed: “The relationship between the King and his son is actually at an all time low at the moment.

“What Harry does, is goes off-piste, and tries to contact his father directly. And that makes Charles nervous.”
