Recent reports suggest that Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel weren’t all that secretive about their alleged relationship.
Pablo Torre claims that Russini hosted her own pool party with Vrabel and others at the recent NFL owners meeting.
Tony Farmer is now reporting that an NFL employee spotted the reporter sitting on the coach’s lap during the combine in February.
Farmer, a beat writer for the San Francisco 49ers, said the eyewitness also saw Vrabel slap Russini on the butt.
“An NFL employee said they saw Dianna Russini sitting on Mike Vrabel’s lap at Coaches Tavern in Indianapolis during the week of February 23. According to the witness, at one point Russini stood up and Vrabel gave her a “friendly little slap” on her buttocks,” Farmer shared via X.

Farmer notes that this happened around four weeks before the bombshell photos dropped, courtesy of the New York Post.
He continues…
“When I asked my source about the seemingly brazen nature of the encounter given that so many NFL personnel would be around during the Combine, the source explained:
“(NFL) coaches have realized that Prime (the Steakhouse across the street from Coaches Tavern) has become a popular spot for journalists to hang out and so Coaches has become a spot to let their hair down.”
This all suggests that the dynamics between Vrabel and Russini were likely no secret among NFL circles.
Torre did mention that league high-ups were not surprised when the photos dropped.
