This is cringeworthy to watch.
A video has surfaced of New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel being pestered by a photographer for questions about the Dianna Russini controversy at the Salt Lake City International Airport on Saturday.
Today marks three weeks since photos leaked of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini hanging out at a luxurious adults-only hotel in Sedona, Arizona. The images, taken on March 28, showed Vrabel and Russini holding hands, chilling by a swimming pool, and hugging.
Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic. Soon after, more photos surfaced of her and Vrabel kissing at a New York City bar on March 11, 2020. Vrabel skipped day three of the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling.
On Tuesday, TMZ released a video of a photographer approaching Vrabel at the airport and repeatedly asking him questions. Vrabel kept his composure and offered few words, despite the man’s continuous questioning.
The photographer continues to ask Vrabel for any comments, but the latter calmly gets into his vehicle and prepares to drive off.

Mike Vrabel Is Unlikely To Face Any Serious Repurcussions

If Vrabel’s Patriots fared poorly in 2025? Owner Robert Kraft could have made the easy decision to fire him after this scandal. Fair or not, Vrabel’s status as a top NFL head coach means he’s not going anywhere.
The Patriots aren’t going to fire a coach who led them to a 14-3 record and Super Bowl 60 appearance this past season. Plus, Kraft was involved in his own off-the-field controversy seven years ago.
Obviously, this isn’t the distraction the Patriots need. And it’s hard not to feel for the families of Vrabel and Russini. While her future in sports media remains in question, Vrabel’s coaching career certainly won’t be jeopardized whatsoever.
