The Prince of Wales marked his 44th birthday with a new photograph with one of his children.

Royal fans were delighted they got a new picture of the Prince of Wales to mark his 44th birthday and Father’s Day on Sunday, but there was one complaint they had to make. Kensington Palace shared a new photograph of the heir to the throne with his daughter, Princess Charlotte, after Trooping the Colour
It was shared alongside the caption: “Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much. C, G, C & L” and an emoji of two pink hearts. The family were at the Trooping the Colour last weekend and the picture shared on social media was taken in the garden of Kensington Palace after the ceremony, with William in the scarlet dress uniform of the Welsh Guards, of which he is colonel, and Charlotte in a cream dress. But fans were disappointed that the picture did not include all of William’s children, as Prince George and Prince Louis were absent.

One user said on X: “Ok I love the post but why only Charlotte? [crying face emoji].”
Another one agreed: “It’s kind of weird just posting a picture with one child idk.”
A third one asked: “Why would you not have one with all 3 kids?”
A fourth one commented: “Why aren’t C,G and L in the photo?”
In his birthday week, the Prince of Wales was joined by his wife at Royal Ascot for the first time since 2023.
On Wednesday, Princess Catherine and William took part in the traditional carriage ride, enjoyed the races from the royal box and even shared a joke with former England manager Sir Gareth Southgate before the World Cup match against Croatia.
The princess made her first appearance at the famous Berkshire meet since being diagnosed with cancer in early 2024 and later undergoing successful chemotherapy treatment.
The couple were also part of Monday’s Garter Day celebrations at Windsor Castle.
