Dianna Russini loves being around men.

Any and everything that Dianna Russini has said or done has come back to life this week.

Before anybody even knew about her and Vrabel, someone on X called her out for her relationship with him. Nobody had a clue what it meant at the time. However, when the pictures surfaced on Tuesday from Page Six, everything started to make sense.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and the New York Times sports reporter appeared to be holding hands, hugging, and lounging together in a hotel pool. The photos were reportedly taken Saturday, March 28, at the Ambiente, an adults-only resort in Sedona. Mike Vrabel was in Tempe, Arizona, for a scouting event at Arizona State University. He and others reportedly drove to Sedona the following day to meet with Russini and her friends.

Vrabel, who was tapped as Patriots head coach in January 2025, is married to Jen Vrabel. Russini, a senior NFL insider for The Athletic, is married to Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt.

Old Video of Dianna Russini Is Going Viral

Dianna Russini, a senior NFL insider for The Athletic, and New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel are currently under hot water. They are leading the headlines for their alleged hotel date despite being married to their respective spouses.

A resurfaced video now shows that Russini might have an issue with other men.

One video shows Russini looking like the happiest person as she listened to Matt Hasselbeck and Drew Brees speak.

After the photos began circulating and drawing speculation from sports fans, Vrabel responded to Page Six. “These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable,” Vrabel told the publication. “This doesn’t deserve any further response.”

Russini also issued a statement.

“The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,” Russini said in a statement provided by The New York Times.

Russini joined The Athletic in 2023 after working as an ESPN “SportsCenter” anchor for eight years.
