Prince William is allegedly “deeply irritated” by King Charles’s U-turn regarding Prince Harry’s return to the UK and he “won’t take” his estranged brother’s calls, sources have claimed. The Duke of Sussex is bracing for a highly anticipated return to his home country alongside his whole family next month for the first time in four years.

Harry and Meghan last brought the children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, back to Britain in the summer of 2022, for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The Duke has reportedly been offered to stay at a royal residence by his father, the King, who is longing to see his American grandchildren, although it has not been confirmed if the Sussexes have accepted. Harry’s bombshell return to the UK has sparked conversation about potentially meeting with his father after seeing him briefly last year during another trip to the country, which could further pave the way for a possible reconciliation.

But there is one royal who is adamant in not meeting with him, according to reports, and that’s his brother, the Prince of Wales.

Sources told Vanity Fair that the future King will make sure he’s “miles away” when his estranged brother comes back.

They told the outlet: “William won’t be seeing his brother. I suspect he will make sure he’s miles away when Harry visits to avoid any awkward encounters. Harry has tried to make contact repeatedly, but William won’t take his calls.

“He is not minded to a reconciliation at all, and the fact that his father is bending over backwards to make Harry’s visit happen has become the source of deep irritation for William.”
