Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking their two kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to England in July, but that doesn’t mean they will be seeing their cousins, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.

In a Page Six article published on Tuesday, June 23, royal commentator Amanda Matta said “there is no indication” that a reunion will happen.

“Even if relations are gradually improving, the Wales household likely has a full schedule already in place for the summer, and any reunion involving the cousins would require tons of planning and goodwill from all parties involved,” Matta told the outlet.

Matta also said that the fractured relationship between the Sussexes and Prince William and Princess Kate is “the biggest hurdle” in the children seeing each other.

“Particularly if Catherine were to be involved in any potential plans,” Matta noted.

Meanwhile, royal reporter Emily Nash told the publication that it’s “far too soon to say” whether or not the children will meet, but she doubts it.

“I mean, you never know. If it was part of a wider family gathering, it’s possible they could be at the same place at the same time,” Nash shared. “But, you know, given the very fractious nature of the relationship between William and Harry, I don’t see them rushing to spend time together just because Harry’s back in the U.K.”

As for King Charles III‘s involvement in the situation, Nash predicts “he probably is just focused on his own moment of spending time with the son he’s not seen for a long time.”

“Especially potentially meeting his grandchildren,” she added. “I’m sure that’s probably his primary focus right now.”

As Star reported last week, the 77-year-old sovereign has offered lodging on a royal estate to the Spare author, 41, and the With Love, Meghan star, 44, for their visit, but the couple has yet to respond, according to People.

The last time Charles and Harry saw each other was at a September meeting at Clarence House, putting an end to their 19-month estrangement. William, 44, and Harry remain estranged.
