👀 KING CHARLES IS SPOTTED RELYING ON AN UNUSUAL WALKING STICK — BUT THERE’S MORE TO IT THAN FIRST MEETS THE EYE. The King was photographed using a shoulder-high stick as he made his way across rough ground in the Scottish Highlands during a visit to Cairngorms National Park. The images immediately drew attention, particularly because Charles appeared to use it for extra stability while navigating the uneven terrain. Look closer, though, and this is no ordinary walking aid. The distinctive design has a very specific countryside purpose — and explains why the King chose it for this particular engagement.
