PRINCE Harry was seen leaving mum Di’s ancestral pile yesterday — where he is due to visit her grave with wife Meghan and children Archie and Lilibet.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, was driven from Althorp — home of Di’s brother Earl Spencer — to the final leg of his UK visit.

The Sun previously reported he and Meghan, 44, wanted to take Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, on their first trip to Di’s grave, on an island in the Northants estate.

It has not been confirmed when the visit might be, or if it has already taken place. Meghan and the children flew in from Europe last week but have not be seen in public.

On Friday, the Sussexes were guests of the King and Queen at Highgrove, Gloucs, in a remarkable sign of a Royal Family reconciliation.

It was the first time Charles, 77, has met his grandchildren in four years and only the second meeting with Lilibet.

Sources insist no details will be leaked about the private family gathering and no photos released.

It is not known when the Sussexes fly back to California.

Yesterday, Harry was driven 40 miles from Althorp to Scotty’s Little Soldiers summer festival at Maxstoke Castle, Warwickshire.

The charity, of which he is ambassador, provides support for bereaved military children.

Nine-year-old Poppy, who lost her dad, able seaman Daniel Turnbull to leukaemia in 2020, asked Harry what made him laugh on a difficult day. Harry patted his heart, saying: “That got me right there.”

He added: “You know what, sometimes it’s just a difficult day.

“It’s not always possible to laugh. But my dog, my children, they make me laugh. And if I need to laugh, I’ll probably put something really funny on the television.”

Brandon, ten, whose guardsman dad Sam Newby, died in 2022, asked the duke what superhero powers he would like.

Harry replied teleporting or flying, then said that he would like a magic hand, adding: “I would go around to everyone having a bad day and touch them on the shoulder” so they would feel better.”

Harry told another teen he had a tradition of tucking into lemon drizzle cake to mark the anniversary of Diana’s August 1997 death, or her July 1 birthday.

Asked about how he relaxed, Harry said: “Get up and do something — exercise, walk the dog, swim in the sea. And talking. Guys, if you’re feeling it, share it.”
