MEGHAN MARKLE’S STRICT RULE FOR PRINCE ARCHIE AND PRINCESS LILIBET HAS BEEN EXPOSED — REVEALING THE FIRM BOUNDARY SHE REFUSES TO LET ANYONE CROSS WHEN IT COMES TO HER CHILDREN Meghan and Prince Harry have fiercely protected Archie and Lilibet since leaving royal life, allowing the public only carefully controlled glimpses of their family. But a newly revealed household rule offers a rare insight into how Meghan manages one particularly sensitive part of the children’s lives. What may sound excessive to outsiders appears non-negotiable for the Duchess, especially after years of intense attention surrounding the Sussex family. The rule also explains why certain moments involving Archie and Lilibet are handled very differently from those of other royal children.

Meghan Markle has revealed a strict rule in her house when it comes to the kitchen. The Duchess of Sussex shared rare glimpses of her family life during her recent stint on MasterChef Australia.

Meghan’s episode as a guest judge on the cooking show aired on Sunday, but it was filmed back in April, when the Sussexes headed Down Under for a visit. She was joined by MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli. In the episode, Meghan revealed that her daughter, Princess Lilibet, enjoys eating Brussels sprouts, as does Prince Archie.

She said: “My kids eat Brussels sprouts” before another person could be heard exclaiming, “That’s impressive!”

Meanwhile, the duchess revealed another house rule in her kitchen in Montecito, California.

She said: “The kids are great eaters; we’re very lucky on that front.

She added: “If they say, ‘Mama, can I have dessert?’ We say, ‘If you can pick it, you can have it.’”

Sofia then said jokingly: “You can’t pick chocolate!”

Meghan replied: “No, you can’t pick chocolate, but you can pick a nice piece of fruit.”

During Sunday’s episode, the duchess praised contestant Aaron Kher’s dish but joked it packed “too much” spice for Harry, who greeted the Australian group with a “G’Day”.

“He’s a charmer, isn’t he?” she said after the phone call ended.
