Dove Cameron and Damiano David are married!

The “Boyfriend” singer, 30, and the Måneskin frontman, 27, said “I do” on Sept. 24 at the historic Town Hall in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy, PEOPLE can confirm.

The couple wore matching suites, with Cameron’s cinched at the waist, featuring a white tie and draping cape, while David accessorized his ivory look with a silk scarf.

Rumors of the couple’s romance began to circulate after the actress attended one of the rock star’s Måneskin concerts in September 2023.

Then, in January 2024, the pair were spotted out together on a dinner date in Los Angeles.

The following month, the couple made their red carpet debut at Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Gala.

Cameron made their relationship Instagram official on Feb. 4, 2024, posting a sweet snapshot of David carrying her heels. The musician commented on the photo with red heel and kiss emojis.

In June that same year, Cameron gushed about David’s “angel, teddy bear” personality in an interview with Cosmopolitan.

“He’s the best person I’ve met in my life,” she told the outlet. “You spend two minutes around him, and you realize he is the kindest, most generous, most innocent, most giving person. He’s just a beautiful, sensitive soul.”

In January 2026, Cameron announced that she and David were engaged in an Instagram post showing off her ring. She captioned the post, “my favourite part of being alive 💍 happy new year.”

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon later that month, Cameron raved about how “beautiful” and “perfect” the ring was because her fiancé helped design it.

Recalling the romantic, private way David proposed, Cameron said that despite knowing a proposal was coming, it happened when she least expected it, when the couple was at home packing for a trip.

“Clothing is everywhere, I’m in a big T-shirt, no makeup, hair still kind of wet from the shower, and I’m running around like a little creature in our house,” she recalled.

Even though Cameron admitted she’s “the worst version” of herself while packing, David paused to admire her. In that exact moment, she realized what was about to unfold.

“I was so prepared until literally right now, and so I ran into the other room panicking, thinking, ‘Should I do my nails?’ Like, what do I do? I gotta be ready,” she said before joking, “I forgot how to function for a minute — my brain broke in half.”

Cameron eventually joined David in the living room, where he shared his reasons for choosing a private, low-key setting before popping the question.

“He had something in his hand and he said, ‘I know that some girls want rose petals. I know maybe you were expecting something big, but our life is so big, and it’s full of so many public highs that there’s no romance in that for us anymore,’ ” Cameron shared. “And so I wanted to do this here, in our home, because I want dishes, I want laundry, I want making food together, I want you in your big T-shirt. This is the life that I choose, and I hope you chose the same. Will you marry me?”

It seems the couple kept the happy news to themselves for a while; although they didn’t share their engagement publicly until January, Vogue reported that they had actually been engaged since October 2025.

Cameron has spoken openly about their relationship since their engagement announcement. Back in February, the Descendants actress told PEOPLE that coming home to David after filming 56 Days was a “beautiful thing.”

Speaking with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of the psychological thriller series, Cameron said it was “funny” leaving the set and returning home to spend time with David, given the difference between her character’s world and her own.

“My partner and I, we were only together for eight months when we started shooting, so it was definitely a beautiful thing to come home to every night,” the actress explained.
