Several members of the royal family are expected to be in attendance at the event on June 6.

  • On June 6, Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips will marry Harriet Sperling in a private ceremony in Gloucestershire.
  • This marks the second wedding for both the bride and groom; Phillips was previously married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 until 2021.
  • Kelly, whom Phillips shares two teenage daughters with, is expected to be in attendance at the royal wedding.

As proof of how cordial their post-split and co-parenting relationship is, Peter Phillips’s ex-wife, Autumn Kelly, is expected to be at his royal wedding to Harriet Sperling this weekend, according to reports.

Per GB News, Kelly will be among the guests at the couple’s private ceremony at All Saints’ Church in Gloucestershire on June 6. Phillips and Kelly married in 2008 and finalized their divorce in 2021; they share two teenage daughters—Savannah and Isla.

Phillips and Sperling’s wedding, the outlet reported, “will embrace a more intimate countryside atmosphere rather than the grandeur typically associated with royal nuptials, reflecting Mr. Phillips’s preference for privacy.” This is also Sperling’s second marriage; she shares a teenage daughter, Georgina, with ex-husband Antonio St. John Sperling.

Phillips and Kelly’s life post-divorce has been regarded as one of the royal family’s “most successful examples of contemporary co-parenting following a high-profile separation,” GB News reported. The ongoing connection between Kelly and the royal family was on display at the Cirencester Horse Trials last month, where Kelly spoke with her former mother-in-law, Princess Anne, while she watched her former sister-in-law, Zara Tindall, compete at the event. The outlet noted that Kelly and the Princess Royal have “maintained a particularly strong bond” over the years.

Kelly also was on hand for a May 15 charity golf tournament that fell on Tindall’s 45th birthday. It was hosted by her husband, Mike Tindall, and Kelly and Zara posed for a photo together at the event’s gala dinner at the Belfry Hotel & Resort, Marie Claire reported.

Kelly has reportedly moved on like Phillips; she is in a long term relationship with Irish businessman Donal Mulryan. In April 2025, Kelly was seen again with Princess Anne as they watched Zara compete, and royal photographer James Watling told Hello!, “It was just nice and relaxed. Zara had a group of pals and grooms with her. Autumn was there, which was nice to see.”

“She’s obviously still part of the family and was chatting to Anne and everyone else,” he continued, adding, “She’s certainly not been ostracized in any way, and it was a nice little support team for Zara.”

While Kelly will be in attendance at the royal wedding this weekend, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Sarah Ferguson, and Prince Harry will not be, per Hello!. As for Andrew and Sarah, “it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them,” a source told the outlet. “It’s Peter and Harriet’s special day, and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day.”

As for the Duke of Sussex, he and Phillips “haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited,” the insider said.
