The wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton will go down in history as millions watched from around the world while thousands travelled to the capital city to celebrate, but wouldn’t you just love to know what was said between the two of them?
As we all watched the royal couple say ‘I do’ in London’s historic Westminster Abbey’, viewers couldn’t help but wish they could hear the private conversations between the new royal bride and groom.
Since their big day on 29 April, 2011, lip readers have been able to reveal the small exchanges, for example, when Prince William allegedly told the Princess of Wales she looked ‘beautiful’.
Of course, he merely said what the rest of the world was thinking as she walked down the aisle in a £250k Alexander McQueen lace wedding dress paired with a Cartier Halo Tiara.
However, there was a later exchange, in a raw and real moment as they celebrated their new life as husband and wife.
According to one lip reader, Tina Lannin, there was a comment the Prince made in the carriage procession as they made their way to Buckingham Palace, CBS reports.

As the crowds roared for the new royal couple, William allegedly said to Catherine, “You look happy.” To which she replied, “Yes! Are you happy?” and he responded: “Yes. Very!”
Reports suggest these weren’t the only words exchanged between the newlyweds in the carriage, as Prince William noted the chaos of the crowds. He reportedly made note of the “mad atmosphere” surrounding them, all while giving Catherine a lesson in royal etiquette.
It’s thought that William said: “I don’t think you should bow quite yet. I think you should just bow your head, okay?”
He added: “I hope I remember… It’s mad, it’s mad! Oh my goodness, it’s… really loudly here… these people are clapping.”
When the prince and princess finally made their way to Buckingham Palace, they walked out onto the balcony, accompanied by their bridesmaids, and gave the perfect photo opportunity to the world.
It was here that the two shared a kiss that became a memorable moment in their love story and a picture that adoring fans will never forget.

William turned to Catherine and reportedly said: “Go on, a little kiss, go on.” It was a sweet and sincere moment. Not long after, as they absorbed the unforgettable moment, the Prince prodded for another.
Turning to his wife, he said: “Let’s give them another one. I love you. One more kiss, one more kiss. Okay?”.
The second kiss sent the crowd into a frenzy, so loud even the bridesmaids had to cover their ears, much to the photographer’s delight.
It was one of the most watched weddings of all time, accompanied by those of the other royal weddings.
At the time of their wedding, Prince William was second in line for the throne, but following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, he has since become the next in line to the throne and will one day become the king of England, with Catherine by his side as queen.
