A member of Meghan Markle’s former staff has claimed that watching a particular video from the duchess’ visit to Australia last week has given her “PTSD”. The Duchess of Sussex was in Australia last week with her husband Prince Harry, with their trip seeing them carry out a number of business, charitable and philanthropic engagements.

While some of these engagements were solo, others saw the couple step out together, often hand-in-hand. Many moments were captured on video, with one in particular painting the duchess in a not-so-flattering manner.

This is because in one video clip, Meghan was seen appearing to give Harry’s chief of staff Sarah Fosmo a deathly glare for touching the Duke of Sussex.

The video of the moment has been widely shared on social media, with many members of the public having their say. However, it seems that former staff who worked under Meghan’s leadership have now spoken about the moment.

On The Daily Beast’s The Royalist podcast, Tom Sykes revealed that former staffers told him the clip “revived memories” of their “traumatic” employment.

Sykes said: “Another former employee told me, ‘It gives me PTSD.’”

He continued: “This is what they said after watching the clip: ‘It’s classic Meghan… smiling to the public on one side of her face and glowering at you on the secret side where she thinks she is unobserved’. The woman treats anyone she has power over as totally disposable. You are just treated like a tradesman who is there to fix the toilet.”

Meghan has not commented on these claims, and The Express has contacted her spokesperson for comment.

However, it is not the first time Meghan has been hit with such claims, with staff members having previously made negative claims about the duchess as a boss.

This included claims made to The Hollywood Reporter publication by former staff members on Meghan’s team, who claimed she was a “dictator in heels”.

Meghan has always rejected claims that she has mistreated staff.
