- Patrick Ball’s real-life girlfriend, Elysia Roorbach, made a special appearance on the hit medical drama The Pitt during Season 2, playing a patient in the emergency room who had glued her eye shut while applying false eyelashes.

Patrick Ball and his girlfriend Elysia have been by each other’s side since 2023, the duo having met while appearing in a Miami stage production of Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard. Since getting together, the couple hasn’t shied away from sharing their love with the world, often posting sweet moments and memories together on social media—but their romantic relationship turned into something of a professional relationship this past year when they joined forces for an episode of The Pitt.
In Season 2, Roorbach joined the show as a patient in the emergency room who had glued her eye shut while applying false eyelashes. On working alongside his real-life partner on screen, Patrick told HELLO! that “It was a dream.” He continued, “We get to turn around and play pretend together again,” he said in reference to their past collaboration. “I get to be her doctor, and [her character] wanted nothing to do with me, and that also felt right.”

Ball has just recently made his Broadway debut as he stars in Gina Gionfriddo’s Becky Shaw, and fans were thrilled to see Elysia by his side in support at the play’s opening night. In addition to Elysia, Ball was joined by several of his The Pitt costars who showed up in support.
