Mike Vrabel Takes a Break
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is stepping away from the team to seek counseling and will miss Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. The announcement came hours before new pictures would surface of him and Russini.
Vrabel termed the interaction innocent but pledged to give his best to his family and team, calling the move a necessary personal step. He will not be present for the final day of the draft on Saturday, April 25, 2026, but is confident in the team’s preparation.
Despite the personal matter, Vrabel indicated his conversations with the organization and family have been positive. He has a lot of soul-searching and apologizing to do to fix his home.
