KING CHARLES IS REPORTEDLY SET FOR AN EMOTIONAL REUNION WITH PRINCE ARCHIE AND PRINCESS LILIBET AS THE CHILDREN ARE EXPECTED TO VISIT THE UK NEXT MONTH 👑💔 Sources say the monarch is “overjoyed” at the prospect of seeing his grandchildren again, with plans for a private family moment being discussed ahead of their arrival. The visit has drawn attention as it would mark a rare opportunity for an in-person gathering between King Charles and the Sussex children. While details of the trip remain closely guarded, the possibility of a reunion has already sparked renewed interest in the current state of royal family relationships and what such a meeting could signal behind the scenes. What will this reunion really look like… and could it open a new chapter for the family? 🤔

HARRY and Meghan will be staying in a royal palace for their UK visit next month.

Their brief return comes six years after their Megxit departure to the US.

Following Harry’s security fears, it is understood they may even stay in Buckingham Palace — with an insider pointing out it is the “safest building in Britain”.

They are bringing their two children here for the first time in four years. King Charles is said to be overjoyed at seeing grandkids Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, again.

There is said to be “an agreement” that Charles sees Archie and Lilibet.

The California-based Sussexes have been reluctant to bring the children to the UK since Harry’s 24-hour protection was removed following January 2020’s Megxit.Meghan is taking risk with UK return – unforgivable insult won’t be forgotten

Meghan has agreed to stay in a royal home with armed guards for her first trip back since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022.

It is not yet know if she will join Harry, Archie and Lilibet in meeting the King.

Charles has not seen the Sussex grandkids, who are sixth and seventh in line to the throne, since the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022

Last week it emerged the entire Sussex family will join Harry when he is in Birmingham and London from July 6 to 10 for events ahead of his Invictus Games next year.

But Harry is not expected to meet brother William, Prince of Wales. They are not believed to have spoken since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

A number of royal properties are being looked at to accommodate the Sussexes, it is understood.

Buckingham Palace is currently royal-free amid a £369million renovation.

Harry has previously rejected offers from the King to stay there on solo trips.

But insiders point out the Palace is the safest building in Britain — guarded by the Household Division, serving members of the Army, plus armed Met Police officers.

There could also be rooms available at St James’s Palace in central London or even Windsor Castle.

Another option could be Harry and Meghan’s former home Frogmore Cottage.

It is still empty after their eviction in 2022 and lies within Windsor Castle’s security bubble.

In May 2025 Harry told the BBC of his hopes for a royal reconciliation.

That September he met Charles for less than 45 minutes at Clarence House, London — bringing along a framed photo of his children for his dad.

Harry also jetted in alone to see Charles after he was diagnosed with cancer two years ago.

His family were last all together in the UK in June 2022 for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, when they stayed at Frogmore Cottage.

At the time Meghan was both booed and cheered by crowds outside St Paul’s Cathedral when she attended a National Service of Thanksgiving.

She and Harry again stayed at Frogmore Cottage, without their two children, for the Queen’s funeral three months later.

In early 2023 Harry released memoir Spare which stunned the royals by revealing family secrets and moaning about life in the UK.

Days after the book’s release he was served with eviction from Frogmore Cottage.

PALACE PEACE OFFER

By Robert Jobson, Royal author

FOR years, Harry held the line. He took the Home Office to court. He said Britain was too dangerous and that his family would stay in California until something changed.

Something has changed. But the taxpaying public — which foots the bill for royal security — has been left in the dark.

The King, a grandfather keen to see Archie and Lilibet, has left the door open to his son.

If Harry comes to the UK, and brings Meghan and the children, they will be housed somewhere safe.

A royal palace. It could not be safer.

That alone is a positive step. Harry has always refused such offers before.

Make no mistake: if they are coming, Charles means to see them. That is the warm, human centre of a tricky story.

People forget that Ravec — the committee that rules on royal security — could always protect Harry on a visit, provided he gave notice. I am certain that has now been served.

But the committee was never the wall. Harry was. You cannot hold a gun to the head of the King. In the end, it was Harry who blinked.

It is an olive branch of sorts. But the Crown is still divided, and a single visit does not stitch it back together.

The taxpayer cannot fund protection for a prince who walked away from the job. Most of the country would not stand for it. They would be right.

Nor does any of this thaw the deeper freeze. An afternoon with grandpa is not peace with the family.

I see nothing healing between William, Camilla and the Sussexes. Yet a King will get to hug his grandchildren again. That counts for a great deal.

Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father, does not see those children either. Perhaps it is because he has no money.

And money may be at the heart of it. The money is possibly running out.

What happens when it does?

It seems you get compromise. And that, it seems, is where we now are.

The visit blows the whole thing wide open. When it is over, the Crown will be what it has always been. Divided.

By then he and Meghan had already settled at their new estate in Montecito, California.

While there they have appeared in a six-part Netflix documentary and pursued their own business ventures.

Archie and Lilibet were made Prince and Princess when Charles ascended the throne in September 2022.

They frequently appear on Meghan’s Instagram page, and last month she shared touching images of Archie on his seventh birthday.

They add that any changes by Ravec are made independently of the King and he has no role in his son’s security which is a matter for the Home Office.

Spokesmen for the King and Harry declined to comment.
