The Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini scandal has brought one fascinating question that remains unsolved two weeks later: Just who snapped all those photos of them together?
Two weeks ago, photos surfaced of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini getting cozy at an adults-only hotel in Sedona, Arizona. The images, taken on March 28, showed Vrabel and Russini holding hands, relaxing by a swimming pool and hugging.
On Thursday, things took another wild turn when Page Six leaked photos of the two hanging out and kissing at a New York City bar on March, 11, 2020. At the time, the New England Patriots head coach was still coaching the Tennessee Titans.
As Vrabel and Russini are both married, fans wondered if either of their spouses might have sent a private investigator to follow them. As it turns out, that was not the case.
According to TMZ Sports, the photos of Russini and Vrabel hanging out at the hotel on March 28 weren’t snapped by a PI. Rather, they were taken by a vacationing couple who recognized the two-time Coach of the Year:
“In reality, TMZ Sports has learned a local couple happened to be vacationing at Ambiente, a luxury boutique resort in Sedona, AZ, on March 28, just like Mike and Dianna. We’re told the husband is a big sports fan, and he recognized Vrabel…so they snapped several pics showing them lounging at the pool and in the hot tub.”
On Wednesday night, news broke that Mike Vrabel would seek counseling and skip day three of the 2026 NFL Draft. The draft began in Pittsburgh on Thursday night and runs through Saturday.
The defending AFC Champions traded up into the No. 28 spot to select Utah offensive tackle Caleb Lomu. This comes one year after they used the No. 4 pick on prized LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell.
Vrabel has decided to put his family and well-being first amid the controversy. New England has 10 more picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. That includes the No. 63 pick in round two this evening.
