Has ‘Ransom Canyon’ Been Renewed for Season 3?

Not yet. As of July 29, Netflix has not officially renewed Ransom Canyon for a third season—but Season 2 only premiered on July 23, so there’s no need to start mourning Gracie’s Dance Hall just yet. For context, Netflix waited about two months after the show’s April 2025 debut before announcing Season 2.

There’s also another encouraging sign: Creator April Blair has confirmed that the writers’ room is already developing ideas for Season 3. That doesn’t guarantee a renewal, but it does mean the people behind the show are ready to keep going!

When Could ‘Ransom Canyon’ Season 3 Be Released?

Season 1 arrived in April 2025, followed by Season 2 in July 2026. If Netflix renews the series soon and production follows a similar schedule, late summer 2027 feels like a reasonable guess. That’s only an estimate, though; there’s no filming timeline or release date yet.

Unlike Season 2, which began after a six-month jump, Blair says a possible third season would pick up immediately after the finale. Staten and Quinn’s story would shift from getting together to figuring out how to actually build a life together—which, frankly, may be harder than staring meaningfully at each other from opposite sides of town.

Elsewhere, Ellie and Yancy still have Sidney, Kai, and one newborn baby between them. Kit is staying in town, Lauren remains caught between what she wants and what everyone expects, and Blair has already teased a possible “bad boy era” for Lucas.
