Meghan Markle offered new job in UK as Prince Harry admits ‘she’d love it’

Prince Harry said he will ‘take’ the offer ‘back’ to his wife, who has reportedly settled down in Oxfordshire.

Meghan Markle has been offered a new job in the UK — and Prince Harry believes she would love it.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are settling back into British life after a bombshell move back from Montecito, California, in late August. Prince Harry is now conducting his first charitable engagements following the move.

On Monday (September 21), the Duke had to fight back tears as he discussed the ‘ups and downs’ parents of seriously ill children have to endure during an impassioned speech at the Wellchild Awards ceremony. As he did so, Magic Radio host Gaby Roslin — another Wellchild ambassador — stepped on-stage to comfort the Prince.

Roslin also had the opportunity to interview Harry for Magic, in which she offered Meghan Markle a new job that she would ‘love’, Harry said.

“Do you want a show on Magic?,” Roslin asks in a viral video clip of the exchange. “Your wife could do a show on Magic. She loves Magic!”

Harry replies: “She does love Magic. That’s true.” When he is later asked which show Meghan ‘would like to do’, the Duke adds: “We haven’t talked about it, but I can take this back to her.”

He then jokes he will have ‘have a word’ with Roslin’s radio boss, seen off-camera, after she suggests a Christmas show.

Harry was quizzed by other media outlets about his uncle, Earl Spencer’s, new book on his mother, Princess Diana. The memoir has dominated the headlines for several days after the Earl made several claims over how King Charles reacted to his ex-wife’s untimely death in 1997.

In response, Buckingham Palace released a statement last Wednesday (September 16). It said: “While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss.”

Reportedly, the Duke is in talks to make a documentary about his mother’s life, as it will be 30 years since she passed away next August.
